Laura is the Owner and Director of Concept Leadership Development. As a California POST certified instructor, for the past 15 years she has instructed and facilitated supervisory and management level POST certified courses. She is dedicated to teaching first line supervisors and managers in the principles of employee performance and accountability and leadership concepts. Her courses also incorporate the challenges and successes of navigating contemporary policing issues. Laura also presents leadership courses nationally. Laura served in law enforcement for 29 years, retiring at the rank of lieutenant from Cathedral City Police Department. Her many assignments included Patrol Operations, Investigations Bureau, Internal Affairs Investigations, Training and Personnel and policy manual development. Laura holds a Master of Arts degree in Public Sector Leadership from Saint Mary’s College of California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Administration from the University of Redlands, California. She is a graduate of the Los Angeles Police Department Leadership Course, Supervisory Leadership Institute (Class 100), Executive Development Course and Criminal Intelligence for Executives.
